Ring of Fire Meadery wins big in the 2008 International Mead Competition!

Ring of Fire is proud to announce three wins:

Silver Medal: Red Currant Reserve

Silver Medal: Tart Cherry Reserve Mead

Bronze Medal: Local Apple Cyser

We are especially proud of these three medals because they are all made with local fruit grown on the Southern Kenai Peninsula in Homer, Alaska. All of our meads are naturally made with no sulfites and no perservatives.

Second Annual Mead Competition

Private judging 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, May 10 in the Magma Chamber adjacent to Ring of Fire Meadery.

Awards Ceremony open to the public 6 p.m., Saturday, May 10 on the Ring of Fire Meadery back lawn.

ABOUT THE MEADERY

Ring of Fire Meadery was established in 2004 and is located in scenic Homer, Alaska on the tip of the Kenai Peninsula.

Rachel and Laurence Livingston produce award-winning meads using traditional methods and high-quality recipes that have beeen perfected over the last 20 years.

All of our meads and honey ciders are produced without sulfites or preservatives and with the finest honeys available. We also use a variety of local fruits and berries so that you may experience many of the tastes that Alaska has to offer in the comfort of our tasting room.
